Three years ago, the biggest fire in Portugal's memory marched over the country's central territory. Three years ago, an entire region saw its landscape change overnight. The interweaving of a collective and simultaneously personal experience offers unquestionably the fertility of a questioning soil. What is left of the “landscape of fire” today? What lessons of resilience has Nature given us?
The collective exhibition "15 - Three Years Later" aims to present us with the eternity of today, three years after the 15th of October, in a space open to capture the remains of an event that has changed us forever. This project also came up with the aim of supporting local initiatives that devote themselves to the Other, be it the individual or the sacred ground that welcomes us. For this purpose, it was decided that each exposed photo will be for sale and the proceeds from that sale will fully revert to initiatives and institutions of a solidarity and altruistic nature, mostly regional.
